I’ve been a loyal user of moisturizer for as long as I can remember. I was about 10 when I started using Nivea Soft, and for the past few years I’ve been using tub after tub of Olay Complete. However, what would you say if I told you to ditch the moisturizer for oil?

I’ve been using Kiehl’s Argan Oil for the past few months and it’s been absolutely phenomenal for my skin. Any dryness or redness has been cured and I can walk out of the house without an ounce of makeup.

If you are wary of applying oil on your face, just remember that your pores naturally secrete oil and stripping it away with strong cleansers causes more harm than good. Kiehl’s Argan Oil is a lightweight, dry oil that is quickly absorbed.

I use this like normal moisturizer, by applying a few drops to a freshly cleansed face. Let it absorb for 10 minutes and then continue with your normal beauty regimen.  My only gripe with this product is the lack of SPF protection, so I tend to follow up with a tinted moisturizer or use this for the evening cleansing routine.

I really recommend this for anyone with problematic skin because it’s amazing. Argan Oil is a great multitasker and can be used as a serum for your hair as well. I know I’m going to be checking out more products from the Kiehl’s Argan range after this hit.
